Howdy!

I just wanted to let my active watchers** know that I'll be out of town until the 30th of January.  The plan is to leave the freezing cold of the Mid-Atlantic for the warmth of South Africa.  When I travel I usually try to stay as far from computers as possible, so I won't be checking this website, or my email, most likely.  I've got lots of hiking and relaxing to do, afterall.  There will be plenty of time to stare at big glowing rectangles when I get back home.

Anyways, hopefully while I'm there I'll pick up some inspiration, because goddamn...  Lately, I've been having doubts over the quality of my work, and it's been leading to me not finishing stuff, and therefore not posting stuff.  Sigh.  All is not lost though.  Even in the unlikely event that I never submit another painting, I'll still be painting for fun, and I'll still be here to comment on other people's work.  

Hmm, I posted this a little early since the flight doesn't leave until tomorrow evening.  Just wanted to make sure I didn't forget n' stuff.  It's not because I'm super excited or something
